Bern – when are we coming to the farm? We need to plan. Absolutely stunning – can’t believe the roses. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Kate! I must say, we always come to the Karoo in winter, as there’s nothing quite like the roaring fires and endless amounts of biltong. But being here now in the Spingtime has been spectacular. Weather is PERFECT – not too hot, and it’s looking so beautiful after all the rain. What about we book for next Spring (and hope it’s another good year).

Looks absolutely spectacular! I love the roses in contrast to the Karoo backdrop.

Hi Liz! And can you believe that I only just discovered that the close-up I took of the pink rose is Fanny Palmer, named after our great grandmother. Out of all the roses in the garden I picked that one without even knowing. x

Bern – these roses are just too beautiful – wow! I would love to just sit quietly on that grass among them for a morning!
