I spent a happy weekend up the West Coast and saw some incredible flowers. Luckily I had my good friend Brenda of Hearts in a Shutter with me to capture these amazing images.
The Boys had a ball:
And so did I – spending time with the family and cooking (and cleaning!) mussels.
We managed to polish off 5 kilograms of mussels between 5 of us…
I cooked them in a potjie pot over hot coals using this recipe, which I last posted on here.
