My new cookbook: Roots, Shoots & Leaves

So without further ado, here’s a sneak peek and my pick of five dishes from my new cookbook Roots, Shoots & Leaves published by Sunbird.

1. Spinach, sweet pepper and feta phyllo tart

2. Jerusalem artichoke risotto

3. Chilled Beet and apple soup

4. Baked eggs with kidney beans and chilli

5. Warm salad of samphire with asparagus and toasted pine nuts

    wow – congrats
    this is my kind of book as Im mostly vegetarian!!! I have meat once a month :)
    yay – I will look out for it!
    congrats the photos are beautiful and the recipes sound delicious

      Thanks Betty Bake! I’m definitely no vegetarian, but it’s become too easy these days to grill a steak, make a salad and call it “supper”. Hopefully it will inspire to get more creative with vegetables. x

    I got the best Christmas gift last year – your book!!! I have recently started my own veg garden(my very first garden…) and I made your phyllo tart, cucumber carpaccio pampoen fritters all today, straight from the garden!! THANK YOU for your book filled with inspirations! Can’t wait to try out the beetroot soup:)
