Finally. A daily fresh produce market in the city. Although the launch date is only the 1st of November, the V&A Market on the Wharf is one market I’m very much looking forward to. It promises to be on a par with London’s Borough Market, La Boqueria in Barcelona and San Francisco’s Ferry Building Market. There will be fishmongers, butchers, bakers, confectioners and wine merchants all converged under one roof inside the historic power station at the V&A (currently housing the Musica store).
The V&A Market on the Wharf will be open for trading on Wednesdays – Sundays 9.00am – 19.30pm. And will be in operation 22 days a month, including public holidays.
Excited? I am.
